Mpumalanga & Kruger Park

What good fortune to visit such a beautiful part of the planet!  Even without the wildlife it is more than worth the visit.
You will be thrilled by the scenery  - don't miss the Three Rondovals.  And see the view from God's Window for sure for sure!

Have you seen an aloe plant bloom?   or this Africa-only orchid?

We 'safari'ed in style at Critchley Hackle   We progressed handsomely to Pilgrem's Rest  where you can stay in frontier style and dine much too well for travelling light   Say hi to the free jukebox there!!

It is definitely worth a climb to the haunted cemetary on the mountain.

Be sure to stay at Old Joe's Kiana  for an intimatcy with the South African veldt.  When you voyage here, be sure to pay attention to the road signs - they really mean it!   and

How about the Baobab tree   - hundreds of years old, "Father of the Forest"

But you came here for ANIMAL PICTURES, right?  So let's go through the PHALABORWA Gate   into Kruger Park itself.  Climb aboard.....  and see:

and   andor

  Springboks andor a Hyena  or

a very dangerous animal visitors think is "safe"  and  or

a friendly Hornbill  and  or some bucks?

oror some affectionate zebras?  or

and how about some local wild horses  and of course there has to be a monkey (Vervet)  or  and there is always 'the one that got away'.... No pictures can let you feel what it is like to spot these animals in their own environment - it feels GREAT!
