My friend John M and I visited a Lion Park just 30 minutes from                                                 downtown  Johannesburg!

- there are lions around somehwere                                                                                 and there have been casualties!
Keep looking, we'll spot them soon   - Aha !  There                                                                                                        they are!

We got to play with some cubs after leaving the actual park area.                                                                                    This  is  'Thunder' 
 

I hoped I had 'the touch',   but it was my  friend John who                                                                                      found the trick to lion taming !

  After he succeeded, I joined him! 

We saw a lion cub playing with a hyena pup!  - this would never                                                                                                           happen with adults!

On a subsequent trip with my friend Abigail, we arrived at feeding                                                           time - but that is another page......!
